Oral I.V. standout athlete Joe Patrolia might be best known for tearing it up on Spartan Races around the US, but his accomplishments prior to racing are also impressive. The Boston native grew up well versed in athletics -- playing baseball, hockey, football, and golf. After high school, Joe went on to play college hockey for Florida Atlantic University where he helped lead the team to the Division 3 National Championships. Additionally, Joe played 8 years in the Yawkey Amateur Baseball League of Boston. Since then, Joe has continued his athletic career by competing in distance running and obstacle course racing. Some of Joe’s biggest achievements have been: participating in the Worlds Toughest Mudder in 2013 where he managed to run 50 miles in 24 hours; Finished 14th in the US Men’s Elite Spartan Race standings in 2013; Hitting the podium twice on his home course of Miami (2nd) in 2013 and 3rd in 2014; Finishing 3rd in the Hawaii Stadium Sprint in 2014. Joe’s training regiment is unparalleled, which has led to much of his success. He prides himself on being able to find a workout anywhere and everywhere.
