He is now in his seventh year as a law enforcement officer, and fitness plays a big role in his profession. Pera is a member of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Athletic Association and has also participated in the Los Angeles Marathon. He currently resides in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife and three children.
